too tired

On weekdays, when I came back home, I'm always too tired and sleepy that I can't stay awake late. I want to prepare for the next day's lectures and especially on Tuesday nights watch the anime "K-ON", but it starts at 1:30 in the night... I can't stay up until then. I must build up my strength!

my decision

It's been a year since I posted the last entry on this blog...I didn't have much time because I've been so busy with my study at the uni that I come back home late every day. However I decided today that I post an entry on this blog once a week, probably on Saturday. This is because I feel that my English skill is getting worse and worse and have to do something to stop it.

I want to be an interpreter (not a Japanese-English, but Japanese-German interpreter), but the skill I have now is not good enough to get the job. Of course I have to learn German and English at the same time, and I don't even have enough time to study it at the moment. That's why I can post something on this blog only once a week.

Anyway, I try to do my best. It is the only thing I can do to make my English skill better.

nothing

I have nothing special to post on this blog...or maybe I can write things about my part-time job.

3 months will have passed soon since I started the job. It's actually not bad, but the money I can earn a month is really low. So I think I should look for another job...
My job is to teach English, math, Japanese, science, or social studies to junior high school students. I usually teach only English and sometimes math.
I know my English is still not good, but it's enough to teach easy grammar. However, as for math, I myself don't have enough knowledge to teach! That's a big problem, but my boss tells me to do it.
I've found it very difficult to make explains easy to understand. So when I looked at students after finishing explaining, thier faces implied this: "What did he mean? I don't understand!".
I want them to enjoy studying English because it's a lot of fun if you can understand what it means just a little. Don't you think so?

disappearing

I didn't realize that I hadn't posted anything on this blog. Since the uni started, I've been very busy dealing with everyday things, such as studying for lectures at uni and a part-time job. What's more, it takes me around 4 hours to go to uni and come back home. I'm getting sick of getting up early every day.

Um...actually I have to finish writing a report by tomorrow morning, and I'm sure that I'll have to stay up until morning. Onitsuka Chihiro, one of my most favorite singers, sings, "How do I live on such a field?". This is exactly what I want to say.

Freshman

Long time no see...

I became a freshman this manth. I study German at university. The reason that I chose to learn it is that there are lots of people who can speak English now and I love books written by Cornelia Funke, who is a famous German writer.
At first it was very confusing because I pronounce the alphabets in an English way and there are too many grammatical rules I have to memorize in German, but now I'm getting used to it. And I still study English too, but I've lost confidence in my English because there are some people who lived in a foreign country when they were little children and can speak English as native speakers do.
It takes me around two hours to go to university, so I have to get up very early four times a week. It's very tiring but I'm enjoying my new life.

I don't have much time to use my computer because my theachers gives me a lot of homework.
Therefore, I won't be able to post many things on this blog. But I'll be back as soon as I can.

Well, see you then!

Good-bye September!

Today was the last day of September.
It has been raining since this morning. The rain has made the temperature lower, so I felt good all day, but my family said it was too cold. In fact, the weather forecast said the temperature of today is like that of the middle of November. I prefer winter, but for the growth of my cactuses I hope hot weather will last a little longer.

examination

I’m taking an English exam authorized by the Japanese government next month. So these days I’m busy preparing for it. I’ve realized that I need to extend my vocabulary because I can’t answer most of the vocabulary questions in it. There’s only three weeks left before I have it. Probably I won’t be able to memorize many words, but I don’t want to fail because it took me 6,800 yen to take the exam. Thanks to my homestay family and teacher who taught me English while being in Australia, I found it very interesting to study a foreign language, so for them I will pass the exam!
