A teacher I respect...

Today I went to school to see my teacher who looked after me for about a year. When I first met him, I was so scared of him that I seldom talked to him. I don't know why. Maybe it is because he looks very vigorous in spite of his appearances, and he has a lot of things that I don't have. He can talk to anybody without any fear, while what I don't like more than any other things is chatting. He is so friendly that I often feel as though he were a friend of mine. I want to be an adult like him in the future.

heat

It is so hot in Japan that sweat runs down on my cheeks even while I'm just sitting using my computer or playing video games. I try not to use an air-conditoner because it is one of the causes of the global warming. However, it's too hot for me to endure this swelter. It sometimes compels me to turn on the air-conditioner, but soon I change my mind and turn it off. This is just a small thing for the environment, but I believe that it'll eventually become a big thing. As the proverb goes, Many a little makes a mickle!

Gardenig

I like doing the gardening very much although I hate insects.

Today I went shopping with my mother to buy some flowers. It's summer now in Japan, but autum will soon come. So we wanted to plant autum flowers in our garden. I've wanted to grow cosmoses since last July, but it's a little late now to sow its seeds. Therefore, we bought some other flowers' seeds. We're going to sow them at the end of September. I'm looking forward to seeing them blooming next year.

After shopping, we went to a famous ice-cream parlor and ate sesami ice creams. They were so delicious! Now, I did nothing but the shopping today, so I must study hard!

Homework...

Hi!

Five days have passed since I came back home. I found it very difficult to maintain my English, especially my listening skill. When I was in Australia, I could always hear English, but now I can't hear any English unless I listen to CDs or watch foreign movies. If I don't do anything to maintain my English skill, it will be getting worse, and eventually it will vanish. So I'm going to listen to reading CDs so that I can even improve my English!

I was doing my history homework all day, but I finished less of it than I wanted to. Some people who have good noses might realize that I don't like history very much. there are too many things I have to memorize in history, and I have a bad memory. That's why I hate history. If someone knows how I should deal with it, please tell me!

At last!

I arrived in Japan last Saturday. I still can't believe I'm at home. I didn't at all notice it while I was in Australia, but I felt my life in Australia has become usual. So everything I've seen in Japan since last Saturday is a little bit strange.
So far, I haven't done anything I intented to do. The first thing I have to do is finish my homework and then take tests on 1st September. The tests won't be difficult. To maintain my English is much more difficult than that. So I'm posting something at least three times a week on this blog. See you next time.
